Updated Jewelry Organizer(s) !

So first of all this post is late because my internet connection had not been working and I wasn't able to upload pictures. Then it just didn't work period. So we called the company and  it turned out we needed a new modem and wah lah! It works :D

This picture above is a jewelry organizer I did a couple weeks back, and it looks like that from that angle because I hadn't hung it up. The reason I didn't hang it up was because I wasn't so convinced that I liked it. & plus I didn't have the materials to hang it up :p

Soooooo...There it is! You just saw it, comment and let me know what you think (: What I did was remove the scrapbook materials and hooks from the little one and spray painted both of these. Then i put the hook screws in both. It is apparent I chose the bigger one for necklaces and smaller one for earrings.

I wanted to decorate it somehow and ended up choosing rhinestones. They reminded me of the hollywood type mirrors (lol). But it ended up looking very cute afterall! (: In the bigger drawer there was room so for more decoration I added a matching shoe, which is actually a ring holder! Here's a couple more pictures of my ah-mazing work! (: I loved the result of this and it looks very nice in my room.

Piglet Inspired Nails

This is Mint Apple, by Sinful Colors. I was inspired by a box of baby wipes that is decorated with Winnie the Pooh designs. I was actually very surprised at how these nails turned out. I initially meant to just have dandelions on them. Then I saw the type of dandelion that was printed on the box and decided to do that instead!

The dandelions are kind of hard to identify in the picture below, but Piglet is holding one and there is one next to her.
In case your wondering my ring finger is Piglet's hand holding a dandelion; and Piglet is on my thumb, she turned out better then expected!

I love the combination of all these colors! It looks very good and got tons of compliments for this manicure. (:

 Thanks for reading<3

New Polish!

Recently I found a yard sale in which they were selling nail polish, jewelry, and other fun stuff! I immediately looked at the nail polish finding six that interested me. They were only 50 cents each! so I paid 3 dollars for all of them. Among these polishes were Sinful Colors, Rimmel London, Sally Hansen, and OPI brands. I also bought a new nail polish from Walgreens.

I'll start by introducing both Sinful Color polishes:

The first one on the left didn't come out the color it really is for some reason..it looks orange but is more of a creamy peachy/coral. Go here to get a better color.  It is a very pretty color; and matches a lot of pieces in my closet, since pastels are very in right now. I don't understand the name, however, to me it is a more innocent color than hazardous? But I don't choose! This is the one I bought at walgreens, the second one, on the right is Creamy Opal. I like this one because it is a sheer color, and in the sunlight has a hint of purple. You can't see it in the picture but maybe when I post a picture of my nails you'll be able to see it better!

Next are three Sally Hansen polishes that I bought at the yard sale as well. They are Diamond Strenght, No Chip, and Insta-Dri types. On the Presto Pewter, the last one the sticker was coming off but all the bottles were pretty full after buying them. The middle one is a little older but the color caught my attention and I decided to buy it.

The first one is Tyin' the Knot, then Always Amethyst, and Presto Pewter. I love the Sally Hansen names for all polishes; always so clever! They all somehow connect to the type of polish they are...in case you didn't notice!

The next one interested me more then the others probably because I don't own any colors like this one. Its an opaque grey. I like neutral tones because they can be matched with many things.

It is Steel Grey by Rimmel London and I think the name is very appropriate. I also like the bottle of this nail polish! (:

This last nail polish is awesome since I've never owned an OPI polish. I actually really like this one it has glitter in it. It was obviously sold during Christmas since the name is Rudolph Red.

I've already tried this color on and it is a very very pretty shade. It is a bit sheer which i don't like because I have to use more. The shimmer just makes it better than it already is.

I hope to use all of these colors soon to show all of you!

From Drawer to...Earring Organizer!

So I was running out of room in my jewelry box for my earrings and decided to create something to hold them, but would look good in my room. Well for some reason I have a bunch of these hook screws at home; they are obviously meant to hold something up, so I decided to use these for the holders.

My original idea was to screw them to my wall...but my dad wouldn't be too happy if I had a bunch of holes in my wall when I removed them (haha)! So then I found this lovely drawer that’s approximately 7 x 10 x 2 inches.

As you guys can see I had already begun putting the hook screws on, I was testing it out! Then I removed the handle from the drawer just to remove from it being a drawer...if that makes any sense?

I have tons of scrap booking materials and decided I could just use some scrapbook paper to decorate. My room is a light shade of purple so I thought this pattern went great with it since I was gonna hang it up. I took all the measurements and drew them on the actual paper so I could cut it easier. Before I put the paper I inserted all the hooks so that when the paper was on it would be easier to make the holes. I just used hot glue to secure it and that's it!

A Little About Me..

My first post! So I’m still figuring this out. I just wanted to tell you guys about me a little bit…

I’m from a family of 8. I have 4 Sisters: Jacqueline (Jacky) - 17 years old, Gaby-7 years old, Rosy-3 years old, and Valeria-1 month old. I love all of them, even though they can all be very annoying at times. I also have one brother, Gilberto-13 years old. My parents are the best, and I love them to death.

I share a room with my little sister Gaby. I just recently painted it purple, our favorite color. I’ve been meaning to buy decorations but every time I save up some money I spend it on something else!

I’m a very intelligent person. I do very well in school and I am very proud of that. I love to read books, my all time favorite author is Sarah Dessen! I think I’ve read just about all her books. My favorite one was Someone Like You; It brought tears to my eyes. Stephanie Meyer, Ellen Hopkins, and Lisi Harrison are also some of my favorite authors.

Well that’s it for now, I will try to post at least once a week if not more & I hope my blog is successful! (: Bye!
